| The “Fundación
Espeleobuceo Hispaniola", was born out of the common interest
of a group of friends and cave diving buddies, to do something for
the preservation of the abundant underwater cave systems that can
be found in the Dominican Republic. The majority were unprotected
and without any control for conservation and rational use until
now.
During the exploration process, our interest in taking action to
protect these pristine, beautiful but so fragile caves has grown
stronger.
The FEH was officially incorporated on the 25 of September 2002,
through the presidential decree # 762-02
